Summer temperatures were above average, some 2°C above the long term average. There were 8 days over 30°C. Whilst there were cold temperatures in early December there were very hot days and mild nights in January and February. Autumn temperatures were above average (1.7°C above) with more than 30 days above 20°C. March was particularly warm (warmest March on record).

Our rainfall was below average, with virtually no significant rain between late October and mid-March, when we had three significant rain events on 10, 17 and 21 March. It was the driest summer since 2002.

The Riesling was picked on 20 March, the Chardonnay on 26 March and the Pinot noir on 3 April.
